Dan's Attraction Proposals

These attraction proposals were made for a contest WDI held where cast members of Disneyland and Disney World submitted their ideas for a new Disney attraction, with the winners getting an apprenticeship at Walt Disney Imagineering. "Plane Crazy" got me in the top 18 finalists in 1990, while "Poseidon/Chase" was ignored in 1994. I think "Poseidon/Chase" was lost, because I didn't even receive a "thanks for entering" notice (which everyone else got)...

However, the Poseidon/Chase proposal was one of the things that got me into another WDI-sponsored "contest" in 1997 (where again I got into the finalist position, but ended up with squat)...

D'land Pix of me

This was taken in 1989 at the Great Goofy Pursuit - back in a time when the company didn't think it was a bad idea to have their cast members speed around Anaheim in their cars for a company-sponsored event. That's Javier Gomez (Main Street Merchandise) on the left, Alan Douglas (DCA Attractions/Hollywood) in the center, and me on the right (in my fave Cramps T-shirt). The guy who took the picture made me salute - who the hell knows why...
Here I am trying to look macho with Monorail Orange at the old Hotel station. It's nighttime. Yes, I used to work night shifts...
This is me kissing Mr Johnson, of Mission to Mars fame. Randy Carrillo put this together, I think - charging a couple of bucks to have your picture taken (probably for beer money)...

This is probably the most embarrassing picture. Yes, I was an AP. But it was back in 1987, before I knew any better! I think I'm wearing my pink T-shirt I got at the Smiths concert.
