OCT 16, 1979 @ THE STARWOOD
NOTES
The tracks marked
"(crowd)" are long periods of relative silence between
songs, where band members are tuning up, replacing strings, drinking
some beer, etc. The only sounds are the crowd murmuring and a
few remarks from various band members.
This show was recorded on a portable cassette recorder with a
condenser microphone. It is considerably 'low-fi,' but still
enjoyable.
This isn't a complete recording. The encore of the first set
wasn't recorded. The tape ran out during the 2nd set (after Slavedriver).
After the show, Keith Morris jumped onstage to insult certain
members of the audience.
